We just returned from a week-long, much needed family vacation, and WOW! We saw some great places, met some wonderful people, and even though we were on-the-go 24/7 and got pretty tired, I’m happy to say we came home and all still love each other! That’s an accomplishment! I wore my pedometer every day to track my steps and easily bypassed the recommended 10,000 per day. Now if I could only do that in real life!
Speaking of real life: the lawn needs to be mowed, there’s laundry to do, mail to sort, newspapers to skim, and lots of e-mail to read and recorded TV shows to watch (or delete). But first, I’m reconnecting with my blog! I’m excited that 7 more people have chosen to “follow” it. When I hit 100 followers, I shared my “Grateful” kit as a freebie. I have a number in mind to do my next “thank you” kit ~ we’ll see how long it takes to get there.
And now a reminder and another challenge:
- Reminder: get your layouts finished and sent to me by tomorrow (click here for more info). I have several layouts to post once I get permission from the senders, and I’d love to see one from you!
- Challenge: Over the next few days, I’m going to post pictures from our trip. If you want to guess where that specific photo was taken, leave a comment. If only one person guesses right, they are the automatic winner. More than one – I’ll draw a name and give you a prize. Not sure what yet ~ too tired to figure that out tonight! Here’s the first picture. The right answer is NOT that the picture is a bird ~ I’m looking for the specific U.S. location we were at to get this picture. Unfortunately, this day was very overcast and hazy, but maybe that will make this a little tougher to guess! We’ll see…
As now as Dorothy would say, there’s no place like home!

Boy, I don't have a clue, but I wish I did. Just for fun I will guess Seattle as it rains a lot there and it's a lot bigger then our little town of 3400. LOL
I just sent you an e-mail.
I am looking forward to seeing your vacation photos and I am so glad you had such a good time. I was impressed with all your steps.
Hugs!
Hey, Carole ~ here's another clue: think the opposite side of the country...
My first guess was New York.
Could it be Chicago?
Top of the Empire State Building.
Ummmm, I'm guessing Washington DC, but have no clue. Glad to see you're back. Thanks for the cheerful comments and wishes on my blog...you made my day. Hugs, Andi @ hotpinkpansy.com
