There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays…

It’s time for one of my favorite holiday traditions: theStudio’s annual Christmas Carol blog train! It’s always so fun to see what my fellow designers choose for their song and how they represent it in their kit. Links to their blogs are below my preview.

I have loved the song I chose since I first heard Perry Como’s version many, many years ago – followed some years later by the Carpenter’s. The words and sentiment of the song speak to my heart – “if you want to be happy in a million ways, for the holidays, you can’t beat home sweet home.” Christmas is easily my favorite holiday, filled with decorations and traditions – but most importantly, being surrounded by the people I love.

Recipe Card Challenge ~ December 2014

The starter kit for this month’s recipe card challenge at theStudio is in my store. This will be a freebie for those who participated the month before; others can purchase it for a low price. Reminder: The papers in this mini kit are sized 4 x 6, and the elements are smaller to fit the paper size. These are just the right size to create brag book pages, too!

The focus for December’s cards is your favorite baked good or other recipe that is part of your Christmas/December traditions– whatever you’d like to go along with this theme. This month’s kit coordinates with my December 2012 challenge kit; you can use items from that kit along with this new kit for your cards.
