I don’t usually post personal stuff on this blog, but this week, our Grandma Wanda passed away. Her home was the inspiration for the first digital scrapbook kit I designed (Grandma’s Farm), but more importantly, she was an incredible inspiration for our family. We have so many wonderful memories of spending time at her house and the life lessons she was always teaching us. This was one of my first ever hardcopy, 2-page layouts. I had no idea what I was doing (and it shows!), but it’s funny how these simple words instantly tell a complete story to me and my kids! And that’s the beauty of capturing our memories on paper. Simple or extravagant, they record history, and not just for us, but potentially for generations to come! We love you, Grandma! Till we meet again…

Sympathy and prayers sent your way. I have the Grandma's Farm kit and it was nice to know the story behind the inspiration. Take care.
Sympathy and prayers here too!
So sorry for your family's loss at this time. And I agree. Scrapbooking is a whole lot more than making pretty pages. It's about recording memories for you and your family. I'm sure they all appreciate your memory keeping talent as well. Thanks for all you do for us to help us create memory pages as well. Warmest wishes.
Sorry to hear of your loss. I pray you all find comfort in your time of need.
