“Bundles” Sale + Free with Purchase

This is the last week to celebrate our birthday at theStudio, and it’s a great week to save on “bundled” and collaboration kits ~ they are 50% off! I have 3 bundles currently in my store – Mothers and Daughters, Birthday Wishes, and Grandma’s Farm (see post below), and one current collaboration kit: Life at the Lake. Pictures are linked directly to my store.

To make this an even better deal, my Great Outdoors Kit (preview below) is the “free gift with $5.00 purchase” until Wednesday. This applies to any store purchase; not just items from my store. If you’re interested in any of these, this is a great opportunity to pick them up!

Grandma’s Farm Add-On and Bundle Savings

I’ve been spending a little time revamping some of my older kits – adding more elements, updating the existing papers and adding some new ones, and changing to my new preview and file naming convention. I recently worked with my “Grandma’s Farm” kit to do this very thing, and I fell in love with it all over again! There’s a fun new add-on that includes 2 adorable little kids, 6 embossed papers, and 6 new patterned papers created using my main kit papers and a cool program called Repper.

The updated kit and add-on are both available separately, but also in a bundle package for a better deal. All 3 are currently on sale.

Farmer Bubba’s Target Practice

I love when you use my kits and share the layouts with me. It’s an incredible honor to know that in some small way, I’m helping you to capture and record a priceless memory.

It’s also exciting to see the other types of things my kits are used for besides “formal” layouts, and I must admit: this is one of my all-time favorites! What a fun idea! Deb’s 10-year-old son has a Nerf gun and made this using my “Grandma’s Farm” kit. He named it “Farmer Bubba’s Target Practice" ~ it makes me smile every time I look at it! Thanks for sharing this with me!

Love you, Grandma…

I don’t usually post personal stuff on this blog, but this week, our Grandma Wanda passed away. Her home was the inspiration for the first digital scrapbook kit I designed (Grandma’s Farm), but more importantly, she was an incredible inspiration for our family. We have so many wonderful memories of spending time at her house and the life lessons she was always teaching us. This was one of my first ever hardcopy, 2-page layouts. I had no idea what I was doing (and it shows!), but it’s funny how these simple words instantly tell a complete story to me and my kids! And that’s the beauty of capturing our memories on paper. Simple or extravagant, they record history, and not just for us, but potentially for generations to come! We love you, Grandma! Till we meet again…

Another Grandma's Farm QP

I'm on vacation sitting in my hotel room using the s-l-o-w-e-s-t dial-up connection. I'll never take my high-speed internet connection for granted again! Anyhow, I wanted to share this layout Tammy made using my "Grandma's Farm" kit. I love all the cute little characters on her daughter's birthday cake. And she made this into a quickpage for anyone who wants it (preview below); click HERE for the direct link to her post. Please let her know you appreciate her efforts -- I sure do! Thanks, Tammy!

First kit in store + freebie

I thought it fitting to have my first store kit be the first kit I designed: Grandma's Farm. I've changed a few of the papers and added a few more elements, but for the most part, it's the original version. Here's the full preview; you can pick up this full-sized kit in my Stone Accents Studio store HERE. It will be 25% off for the first week in store.

A couple items before the freebie:
  • I'm changing all my kits from PU only to PU/S4O/S4H. As I update my kits and add them to my store, I'll post the new terms of use (TOU) document for those of you who downloaded the kits as freebies. You can get the updated TOU for Grandma's Farm HERE.

  • I've changed the naming convention of my files from MS (Maurine Stettler) to LetMeScrapbook so it's easier for you to remember where you got the kit.
And last: you can download this quickpage HERE if you want it. The cow and wordart are included as a SEPARATE element in case you don't want those on your page.

Grandma's Farm QP 1

A big thanks to Rose ~ she designed a cute layout with my Grandma's Farm kit and made it into a quickpage so I could share it with you. Just add your pictures, journaling, etc., and you have a great page done! Please leave some love for Rose either on her blog or on 4-shared if you download. Thanks again, Rose ~ I look forward to your future designs!

I titled this post "QP 1" in case I get additional ones to share ~ I'll just keep on numbering! Download this quickpage HERE.

Grandma's Farm Papers

UPDATE (10-11-2009): Full kit now available in my Stone Accents Studio store HERE.
* * * * * * * * * *
I'm so excited to finish and post my first full-sized kit! It reminds me of all the great times we had at Grandma's Farm in Malad, Idaho. Thanks to all the designers who pointed me in the right direction for CU resources and patiently answered my many questions.

The full kit will be in 3 downloads. Today is the papers (except yellow); tomorrow will be the elements (except yellow); and the next day will be the yellow papers and elements I'm including in a color challenge kit. If you think you can use any of these, you can download here (FREEBIE LINK EXPIRED).

Also, if you're like me, there's never enough time in the day, but I'd really appreciate if you can take a quick minute and give me your feedback and comments. And last, if you download and use any of this kit for a layout or other creation, I'd love to see what you make.
