It’s amazing how a single paper can change the look of a layout ~ I can’t decide which of these I like better. But at least I’m one step closer to my goal of completing all theStudio challenges this month. This layout is for Twin Mom Scraps’ “Use Those Elements” challenge. I rebelled just a tiny bit ~ I love frames on my photos! And I’m happy to have 2 more of the 100’s of pictures scrapped that I want to get done in the next 3 months.
Want a freebie quickpage out of one of these? Leave your vote in the comments or send me an e-mail, and I’ll make one out of the winner. Or maybe I’ll make a template to share ~ never done that before. Hmmm… Also, watch for a new kit later this week ~ these layouts give you a little sneak peek of what has become one of my favorite kits (so far).

I'd have to say #1, the background brings out the color everything behind him so nicely and just keeps everything from looking washed out. That's the great thing about digiscrap, you can play around till you get what you really want. And if you change your mind, click click all fixed!
I agree. The first layout it better. It makes the pictures stand out a lot better. Love the colors of this!
I like layout 2, love the color tones of the paper with the picture.
I really like the diamond pattern, but I find that the journaling block gets lost on that background. I think the first one makes everything pop a little more. Nice pages though.
I like the colors in the top one with that particular picture. But with another picture the bottom one would be very nice as well.
My vote is for Layout #1. Both are great, but I like the darker paper better. Good luck with choosing!
I don't know if my comment went through or not =( So I am going to post again. I like Layout 1 for the darker backgroud, I find it makes the pictures stand out more. With either that you choose to use it is a great layout! Good luck with picking one.
I personally like layout #1 better. The background on #2 makes the layout looked washed out.
I like number 1 the best, though I have to say both are gorgeous!
Both of them are beautiful! My vote is layout #1. I like the bolder colors of the paper.
I would have to say the 1st layout I really like the darker colors with the pictures. Great job on this kit Ilove it!!!
