Family Home Evening ~ Blog Train

“When the fam’ly gets together, after evening work is done…” I haven’t sang this Primary song since I was a kid, yet I still remember the words about spending time together and learning from each other. There is nothing more important to me than my husband and children, and I have many fond memories of “formal” Family Home Evenings, as well as lots and lots of “casual” times we still spend with each other. Thanks for choosing this theme, Andi ~ I love it! And thanks for keeping this blog train alive!

My kit includes a finished house “chart” as well as a blank template (thanks, Suzy!) for you to design your own. There are several word art “assignment” tags as well as a blank. I used “Elephants in Cherry Trees” from Kevin and Amanda’s blog if you want to match the font. There are also 5 colored hearts you can use to put your family member’s names on to go along with the assignments, or include real pictures or clip art for each person. You can print this out, laminate it, and post it on your fridge to know who is assigned what. Of course the papers and elements can also be used for regular scrapbook layouts, especially with the other kits. This just gives you some “hybrid” options.
