My new "Smitten" collection is available exclusively at the Studio for the next couple weeks, with individual packs at $1.00 each and the whole bundle for $8. You can find these in my store, along with many other wonderful contributions from other store designers.
Several designers at theStudio got together to create coordinating kits to celebrate the 4th of July. We all used the same color palette, so it will be easy to mix and match any of the wonderful contributions ~ there is a huge variety and lots of fun items! For a limited time, ALL of these will be on sale for only $1.00 each.
I designed 3 mini kits for this collaboration ~ all with some items specific to July 4th, but also with plenty of more general-use items so they can be used for a variety of purposes. You can find my kits in my store, and all of the coordinating products here.
I’ve added two packs to my store that coordinate with my full-size “It’s Time to Say I Love You” kit. The “extras” pack includes 9 papers and 3 elements, and the “clusters” pack has 4 frames that highlight some of the elements and papers from the different kits. I love how they turned out!

For the next 2 weeks, I’ll be the featured designer at theStudio. Here’s the kit I designed specifically for this event; it’s now available in my store.
I tend to like designing “cute” kits, but I wanted to do something a little more “grown up” and “pretty” with this one. It took me out of my comfort zone, but I’m so happy with the result! I’ve even taken some time to play around with this kit and have been able to create some things I love.
The original idea and colors for this kit came from one thing: an adorable clock template from GS Creations. I was inspired by a talk given during the April 2011 LDS Conference, as well as a clock I received last year for Christmas which has “It’s Time to Say I Love You” on the face. Such an important reminder to take time for things and people we love!
The kit will be 30% off through the end of May. Check back later when I post about some additional coordinating items as well as a freebie kit.
One of my favorite recipe card challenge starter kits was the one from May 2011. It may have been that the theme that month was Mexican food, which I love. A big part of it was also the bright, vibrant colors and fun clipart characters.
I’ve been wanting to make a full-size expanded version of that kit, and I finally got it done in time for Cinco de Mayo. There are 9 elements specific to that theme, but the other 62 and all of the papers are general-use, making this kit versatile enough for lots of other possibilities!
It will be on sale through 6:00 pm Sunday for 50% off, then the price will drop to 25% off for the next week or so. You can find it in my Studio store here. It will be added to my other stores in the next few days.
I knew when I designed this month’s recipe card starter kit that I wanted to expand it into a full-size kit – and throw in a touch of blue! I’m really happy with how everything turned out! There’s a main kit, an add-on, a set of alphas in 5 different colors, and an embossed paper pack. I’ve also packaged these together in a bundle for more savings.

One of my treasured memories from when my kids were little was seeing the “art” they designed and the ways they shared their creativity. These days, I love when one of my Primary kids colors me a picture or helps draw something when we play Pictionary or are learning a new song. Every child is an artist ~ these 2 kits were designed to capture and record some of their precious works of art.
Please note: only the 3 characters in each kit are boy/girl specific; everything else was designed to be totally interchangeable. The papers and elements in both kits coordinate with each other.

I’ve been spending a little time revamping some of my older kits – adding more elements, updating the existing papers and adding some new ones, and changing to my new preview and file naming convention. I recently worked with my “Grandma’s Farm” kit to do this very thing, and I fell in love with it all over again! There’s a fun new add-on that includes 2 adorable little kids, 6 embossed papers, and 6 new patterned papers created using my main kit papers and a cool program called Repper.
The updated kit and add-on are both available separately, but also in a bundle package for a better deal. All 3 are currently on sale.
I’ve wanted to design a birthday kit for a long time, and after having so much fun with the September recipe card challenge starter kit to celebrate theStudio’s birthday this month, I decided to get it done! I’m really happy with how it turned out! Everything below will be 50% off (or free) until September 15!
These 2 kits coordinate nicely with each other, making it easy to mix and match the papers and elements in both kits. I intentionally did not make the papers too “birthday specific” so you can use them and plenty of the elements for non-birthday layouts and other craft projects, too. And last, I designed two paper add-on packs. The solid papers are lightly embossed to give some additional depth and texture to your pages. The patterned papers were made using existing papers from the kits above and a cool program I recently bought called Repper. This month’s Stuff to Scrap blog train (see post below) is focused on girls. I decided to focus this LDS blog train mini kit more on boys.
I loved reading bedtime stories to my kids when they were little, and I still love telling stories to my "Primary kids” each Sunday. One of my favorite stories about Jesus is the one that inspired this month’s theme – when He told His disciples to “let the little children come” and He took the time to talk to them and bless them (Mark 10:13-16). And now you know the specific inspirations for my contribution.

For this month’s blog train, we were all given the same color palette to use in our designs, but had complete freedom to do our own thing. I love doing a blog train this way! It gives everyone a huge collection all in the same colors, but with lots of variety and fun! I hope you’ll thank all the generous and talented designers you stop by to visit on this train!

I actually had a template put together for this blog train, but when I got home from work tonight, I couldn’t find it! I looked and looked until I had to leave for an Eagle Scout Court of Honor (congrats, Jackson!). I finally gave up looking when I got home and shifted gears to design this mini kit. I must admit ~ I’m glad that happened, because I really like how this turned out! Wouldn’t you know it? I just opened another folder by mistake, and there was my lost template! Guess I’m ready for a future blog train!

First up, Happy Father’s Day! I sure am grateful for the wonderful men in my life, especially my husband, son, and son-in-law! I love you all!
Second, I just finished an expanded version of my June recipe card challenge kit. I loved these masculine colors and had a hard time stopping! I made sure to include plenty of general-use elements so this kit can be used for more than bbq’s and picnics – there are lots of possibilities!

There is so much satisfaction every time I finish a kit, and I’ll often think “this is my favorite” ~ until I finish the next one. I’m pretty sure this kit is going to remain one of my all-time favorites EVER! I love the bright colors and the fun elements, and I especially love that it reminds me of warmer, sunny days that are just around the corner. I hope you’ll like this one, too!

I intended to have this kit done for Mother’s Day, but I injured my back on my last business trip and between doctor visits, physical therapy, trying to work, and deal with the pain, I’m behind on everything! I was determined to finish this today, and I’m really happy with how it all came together.
One of my best “CU” investments was buying a license for Cheryl Seslar’s clipart ~ I love her work! The characters in this kit provided the color palette. And the inspiration and title come from a Primary song I learned when I was a kid. It’s dedicated to the great women who have “mothered” me and my children and who inspire me to be a better mom myself.
