Last day of 2009…

What a year this has been! Our family has had some tough times, but we’ve also received so many blessings. I look forward to 2010 and all the adventures that are headed our way. A few things to close out the year.

• I wanted to share the link for one of my favorite “freebie finder” blogs in case you don’t have it. Not only does she find great stuff, the links take you direct to the freebie ~ a real timesaver and something I really appreciate. Check out Suzee-Q’s blog HERE.

• I’ve added my Home Improvement #1 kit (previous freebie) to my store at the Studio. Someday, I’ll finish #2! : )

• Stone Accents Studio has almost everything on sale for 55% off through January 1. Click here if interested.

And last – YAHOO! As of today, I have 100 followers!! I’m so GRATEFUL for your support, encouragement, and friendship!  Stop back tomorrow or Saturday for a freebie kit to say “thanks!”

Home Improvement #1

UPDATE (10-6-2009): Freebie link removed; I will be adding this to my SAS store soon.

My daughter and son-in-law recently purchased their first house, and it needs a bit of work! I'm sure this won't be the last load of stuff they haul away. This picture inspired the dump truck element in my kit ~ thanks for the template, MegaDoodle Inspired.

I'm so proud of all they are learning and the improvements they are making themselves to turn their fixer-upper into a beautiful home; that's what inspired this kit. The papers are textured to look like floor or wall surfaces, and there are lots of elements, including some that are not necessarily "home improvement" related so this can be used for a variety of layouts.

You can download here (LINK EXPIRED). If you can't use this yourself but like the color combo, go check out July’s DSO Color Challenge #1. There are always great freebie kits created each month. And thanks to those who leave some love when you download ~ it totally makes my day!

Next up: Home Improvement #2, using the DSO color challenge swatch #2. If I wasn't such a perfectionist and worry wart about my kits, I'd throw it together in the next few days. Better plan on a week or two. : )
