Holy cow ~ remodeling is hard work! My body aches all over, and I've hardly done a thing! It's worth it, though, to see a room change with fresh paint and be there for the unveiling of a beautiful hardwood floor hidden under not so beautiful green carpet. Matt and Amber: you're doing an incredible job, and the end is near. I'm so excited for you! Great job!
I like short posts, but this is LONG because I have a few things to say. : )
First, I want to
thank each of you for the comments and feedback you leave and the e-mail messages I receive. I can't adequately express how much they mean to me; I truly appreciate each one. I worry about each paper and element and drive my daughter crazy because I ask her opinion a gazillion times about each piece before I finish a kit. So thanks, Megan, for your patience and your honesty. And thanks to all of you for giving me confidence in what I'm trying to do and using what I design.
Second, I'm thinking about having a
creative team (CT). If you're interested, please send me an e-mail message. If I get any replies, I'll put together a more 'formal' request and post it at some point in the future.
Third, a few things about these elements:
- I've included some colored beads for you to create your own bead scatter, place them on the string, or use however you want. Also, I originally hooked a couple frames together with staples (like in the preview), but it was a huge file. So I've included the individual pieces so you can do your own thing.
- Thanks, Strawberry Designs, for letting me know about Scrappin Diva's "Buy My Store" deal near the bottom of page 2 at Divine Digital. If you're interested, it's still showing on sale for $20 as of today and has TONS of templates for commercial use (like the birdhouse in this kit) as well as LOTS of personal use kits.
- You get the first 2 elements I made using Scrappy Pony's "Glitter Artist Tool Kit." I love her glittery scatters, and now I can create my own. The kit's on sale for $4.39 through August ~ you can get it HERE. I also used Atomic Cupcake's plastic action on both elements.
- And last: I suddenly feel a little funny with all this "advertising." I don't get anything from it except the satisfaction of passing on information about good deals. I'm a bargain shopper and don't like to pay full price for anything, so when I see something I think others may want, I'll include the info on my blog. And if you find deals I might like to help me create kits, my e-mail address is included at the top of my home page.
