Recipe Card Challenge ~ March

The starter kit for this month’s recipe card challenge at theStudio is in my store. This will be a freebie for those who participated the month before; others can purchase it for a low price. Reminder: The papers in this mini kit are sized 4 x 6, and the elements are smaller to fit the paper size. These are just the right size to create brag book pages, too!

The general theme for March’s cards is your favorite MAIN DISH. If you’d like the complete set of recipes, just use this kit and prepare/share at least one card ~ read all the details HERE.

“Outside My Window: Spring” QP’s

I made a layout for April’s quote challenge at DSO using a technique you can learn in April’s word art challenge at theStudio ~ and decided to make it into a freebie quickpage to share with you! : )

I’ve included a preview of the QP, my layout, and a preview of a new bundle available in my store. The bundle includes 14 QP’s and a cute alpha with upper-case letters and numbers 0-9. Outside My Window: Spring

In the final round of theStudio (previously SAS) designer contest, I created the first in a series of “Outside My Window” kits, and I’m so excited to get this 2nd one done for spring! It’s a big kit with 14 papers, 6 cardstock papers, 70 elements, plus some cute freebie Easter eggs that match the 14 papers. I’ll share some CT layouts over the next few days.

I’ve been wondering if I should keep making patterned papers, but one of my co-workers was looking at my blog the other day and said she loves the patterns and wishes they could be made into fabric or wrapping paper. Said she’d buy them all! I’m sure that was a bit of an exaggeration, but it made me feel better! I hope you like them as well!

Outside My Window: Summer ~ QP #1

I've added this kit to my Stone Accents Studio store; here's the full preview. It's been quality checked by the incredible Tracy, who has proven to be one of the most patient, helpful people I know. A couple things about pricing: 1) My current plan is to have store kits range from $2-$4 depending on the size. The 2 kits currently in store are big; I probably won't do a lot that size. 2) Kits will be 25% off the first week they are in store, regardless of the kit size or price.

You can get the updated terms of use (TOU) document for this kit HERE. And for the person who left a comment asking what PU/S4O/S4H mean: I'm going to write up a blog post with my definitions of these and other scrapbook "language." Acronyms are great when you know what they mean and frustrating when you don't. I'm on vacation this week but will try to get that post done soon.

Going to bed at 1:45 am and getting up at 5:30 makes for a very sleepy me! But I should sleep good tonight: my round 4 kit is done and posted, and the decision is out of my hands. Thanks for your support ~ not just by leaving me comments or sending me e-mail messages, but simply by downloading my designs and giving me confidence to continue doing this!

No "public voting" for this round; the decision is up to the SAS design team. No matter what happens, I'm really proud of what I did and am excited by the new things I've learned. And hopefully, you've got a few new kits you can find a use for.
