Olympics Collab

I’ve been so busy watching the Summer Olympics that I totally forgot to post about an enormous collab kit I worked on with 4 other designers at theStudio! Obviously a big part of the kit is Olympics specific, but there are plenty of papers and fun elements that can be used for other types of layouts and designs, too. Here’s a preview of my portion; I’ll be adding it separately in “My Memories” store soon. The other previews show the entire collab which is available in my store at theStudio.

I’ve also included some layouts below from my wonderful CT members.

You’re the Best, Mom!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day (NSD)! I teamed up with a few of my fellow designers to create a grab bag in honor of women everywhere! It will work for all ages ~ you have fun, cute stuff along with simply gorgeous! The grab bag will be bundled up for NSD only for an incredible price! “Life at the Lake” Collab Kit

Spending a beautiful, lazy day at the lake ... lying on the dock, watching dragonflies buzz by, listening to the frogs and watching the blue sky .... it doesn't get much better than this! I worked with Min (Deli Scraps) and Steph (Scrappy Cocoa), two of my fellow designers at the Studio, on this fun collab kit! In a separate post, I’ll share the layouts designed by my CT members, along with links for some freebies on their blogs. They did another fantastic job ~ I’m lucky to have them on my team!

Here’s a preview of just my portion, and then the entire kit. There are a total of 23 papers, 7 cardstock, and 63 elements. You can find this in my store. I think this will be “deal of the day” sometime this week ~ just click on that link under “Categories” once you get to the store.

Yahoo! I just passed the 50,000 visitor mark! For someone who hoped to get a single visitor when I started this blog, this is a huge milestone! Thanks for all your support!

I've collected lots of alpha sets since I started digital scrapbooking, but for some reason, I never use them on my pages! Therefore, I've never designed any myself ~ this is my first attempt. I've included 6 gems that are big enough to use as regular elements on your pages, or size them down to personalize the alpha. This download also includes a glitter scatter. Thanks for your comments ~ I appreciate them so much! Today's download includes the elements. I couldn't decide which buttons or brads or puffy hearts to include/exclude, so you get them all. But instead of 18 separate elements, it's 3. I grouped them so they can be used as a border, or just use your lasso or another tool to select and use the individual one you want. Back in July, Nicole Parker offered to do collabs with different people. Not to get all mushy, but she has been one of my idols since I started digital scrapbooking, so it took some courage to send her a note. I was very excited (and a bit nervous!) when she said "yes"! And now all these months later, here we are! I originally sent Nicole a bunch of color palettes and she chose a few she liked for a soft, romantic kit. I combined a couple of those to include the colors I liked best, and she came up with the name. I hope you can find many uses for both our kits.

Here are the previews for the full kits (links for the papers are below). Come back the next few days to pick up the elements, alphas, and some great quickpages. The full kit will only be a freebie this week before it goes to my store, so grab it while you can. Also, be sure to check out the post below for some of the layouts made with this kit; I'll be posting others during the week.

Brenda, Veelena, and I decided to put together a small collab kit to thank everyone who supported us long before the Stone Accents Studio Designer Challenge, as well as those who encouraged us and left such positive and thoughtful messages during all the challenges. Veelena picked the color palette, and we all put our own spin on our kits to say THANK YOU! I hope you can use something in this kit to scrap some treasured memories; you can download it HERE.
